Our Mission
Brushes & Beyond’s mission is to enhance the quality and diversity of art education by providing a space for creativity among youths living in underserved communities. We are committed to uplifting communities and providing artistic outlets for all children. We hope to equip youth with the ability to explore their artistic side and foster a love for the visual arts.
Why do we care?
Due to budgetary cuts, many public schools in New York City were forced to eliminate their arts departments, thus depriving students of a fundamental part of their education. We believe all people should have access to creative outlets and the ability to express themselves freely. Brushes and Beyond’s carefully crafted courses aims to advance student’s art skill and help them in conveying their ideas clearly and honestly
