About Brushes and Beyond
We provide free after school art programs for public schools in New York City. Our goal is to bolster creative outlets for youth, and creating a safe learning environment for those who do not have access. Our programs are taught by older youth with backgrounds in art looking to give back to the community and encourage others to take up the arts as well.
Why We Care
Brushes & Beyond was founded in order to provide needed creative education to children in New York City without any such programs. Many public schools do not have any art programs or extracurricular activities due to budget constraints. Brushes & Beyond hopes to elevate and enhance the education of children, providing different paths in their future as well as a fun and stress relieving activity.
